German Remedies Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd

The original German Remedies Ltd. was merged into Cadila Healthcare (now known as Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.) in 2003. It is no longer an independent entity. The company was originally founded in 1949 and produced pharmaceuticals in collaboration with German companies, with products including medications for asthma, hypertension, and pain relief. After the merger, German Remedies Private Ltd. continued to exist as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cadila Healthcare (Zydus Group). The Zydus Group completed the rebranding of its flagship company to Zydus Lifesciences Limited in 2022. Note that there appears to be a separate, unrelated entity also operating under the name “German Remedies” as a supplier of performance-enhancing products (anabolic steroids) as of 2018, but this is a different company from the original pharmaceutical manufacturer.
