Canmab 440mg Injection contains Trastuzumab which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-cancer drugs. It is used to treat breast cancer and stomach cancer. It can be used either alone or in combination with other anticancer drugs (such as paclitaxel, cisplatin, docetaxel, 5-fluorouracil, capecitabine) or hormonal drugs (such as tamoxifen, anastrozole) to achieve better results.
This medicine is manufactured by Biocon Ltd. Canmab 440mg Injection will be administered to you only by an oncologist or by a trained professional into your vein or beneath the skin. It is suitable for use in patients with high levels of human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2) or hormone receptor positive metastatic breast cancer (cancer this is more sensitive for hormonal changes).
